whats the difference between a 22 and a 23 on a 175 SHO....just asking........

Could be not much, could be a lot. A 22 Should give you a faster hole shot and more RPMs than the 23. But if you are max'ing RPMs with the 23 you'll over rev with the 22

Should be about 200 rpm's less give or take a few
