Had to do a partial Change to the wiring on my Jon boat so I could pull the batteries quickly.  Reason for this is I'm keeping the boat in a storage unit and it has no power to run the onboard charger.  Thought I'd share a few pics I took on what I did.
Takes about 30 seconds to remove each battery and put it in the truck.

That looks fantastic!  Are those the connectors they use for welders?  I made a couple sets of plug in jumper cables with the welding plugs / sockets a long time ago.

Thanks Donald.

The plugs are called Anderson plugs or something of the sort.  I've seen bigger ones used on electric fork lifts.  That's where I got the idea.   If I had to do it again I would use bigger junction boxes.  It gets tight pretty when you use #6 wire.   The next size up would have perfect.

Thats a handy and clean install. Good job.
The time spent doing that will be saved time and time again.

Very neat install! # 6 cable is enough. The best is #6 welding cable, pricey but well worth it, the strands are very fine to carry high amp loads. That's a very nice solve for a problem.
