Cut Down the Number of Lost Fish on a Wacky Rig

There are lots of ways to wack-rig your favorite plastic. This tip could help prevent fish from throwing the bait after being hooked and maybe even add a little extra action to the lure on the fall or during the retrieve.

When wacky-rigging try adding the hook or the wacky head to the split ring of a swivel The Swivel can even become the weight, or at least add a little to it allowing you to use a slightly smaller weight and maybe adding a little more action to the lure

It will work well either on heavier line and baitcasting gear or a light line spinning setup. . As a bonus it cuts down on line twist when throwing light line on spinning gear like us Northern anglers are known to do.   ;D
