Cane river in louisiana

Any tips for cane river in late January... First tournament is there and I've never been...

Slow texas rigs and jigs. Use the current water color to tell you what color to start with. I've only been on it once but used to follow the tournaments down there.

If there happens to be warming trend slow rolling a spinner bait produce bigger bites.

Sorry I don't have more info. We have a couple members that are pretty knowledgeable on that river hopefully they stop by soon.
