So far I am on my own here, if nothing else Ranger owners are a larger group. Strength in numbers  ~bb Something the military taught me "find a weakness and ATTACK"

Where are the Pro Gator boys  ??? You want to talk about a water hawg. And I bet some of you ranger owners feel violated by the resemblance. Both look about the same, both are slow, and both are heavy......

I want to hear from some of those that have those bass boats where the name is associated with things that blow up!  You know...Nitro!  Hmm...wonder who owns one of those?   ;D

Mike they took the awesome hull of the Javelin and combined it with design of the Stratos and came up with the ultimate bass boat and at a better price then even the paper hull Nitros. They kept the name Statos< i guess that sounded better to them.

Ok, look at the name Ranger.. Built by Forrest Woods. We have woods in Louisiana where we hunt and they have Forrest up North. And in those Forrest they have Park Rangers. Most of the time when I see a Ranger its parked, sometimes in the woods. ::)

Very Good Mike, parked Rangers as yard orniments thats what they are good for. I think parking them in the woods for animals to make homes out of would even be better. At least then a Ranger owner could brag about it's performance but never have to prove it, because you would want to disturb some poor little squirels home.

At least if...and I said if...they were parked in the yard...at least they would have all the pieces they came with still attached!  The only woods you will see a Ranger parked in is the woods where the fish are being brought into the boat from...and if they are in the woods...and there is no water...heck...my boat is up for that...they go where the fish are and they do it the best!

Except for the removable glove box :o See thats how ranger does it they turn all there design flaws into add features. You know the ole " it's supposed to do that" .......

Ranger owners riddle me this? What about the transom extension, you know the built in jack plate? Only thing I see that doing is making it very difficult to put the plug in. Why build a extended transome and then still recommend an extended jack plate ???

I was going to stay out of this , but I can't take it any more. People that buy Rangers are trying to compensate for other things that I won't mention, But I think you get my drift. I would buy a cobra over a ranger anyday. I own a cajun, I know they stopped making them, only because of Ranger. It is my understanding, Ranger bought out Cajun, not only to stop the competition, but also to take the hull design. How Dare They!! My heavy 21 ft., great riding boat on rough water, will gps at 74 mph. Chine walk, what is chine walk? Oh, thats what tritons are famous for. I was ready to buy a Bullet, when I came across the cajun. It has huge decks, tons of storage, and every imaginable option, and it will out run a Ranger! Ranger 375, the reason the white flags come up when you launch, is because the fish are laughing so hard they can't take it any more......
