Anyone have any thoughts on this reel as a general all purpose bass reel?

Solid round reel. Ratio might be a little slow for most presentations, but its a great reel none the less.

I have 50s 100 and 200s and I use them for bass fishing, 200s are for jigs and Texas rigs and are awesome

Any issues with the gear ratio/line intake with a presentation like that?

Nit normally, if a fish swims at you hard you have to burn it to stay caught up, but with a strong hook set I haven't had many issues at all.
