Well, here is another creation from Uppet Labs.  This one is a good storage idea for the laundary room that will make the Mrs. smile.

Mine still needs some cosmetic work, and the weather to warm up the garage enough to paint, but it is ready to go into service now.

There are a few ways to make this, I used the more involved joinery way, and would do a couple of things differently next time, but I know this build is solid enough to hold a motor.

Thanks guys, I learned a lot on this project.  It was the first time I ever used a router.

Hopefully I'll be out of the pink phase for a while.   ~bb

I have some tearout holes that have to be fixed, but all in all I'm pretty happy with what came out.

Very cool Jim! Once you finish claiming all the unused, wasted and hidden space, you'll need to find a bigger home with more unused, wasted spaced and hidden space.  ~roflmao

^ This. And it looks like there is some space on that exposed end for a rod rack or some bait hangers. At the very least a line spooling station for goodness sake.   ;)   ~shade

Just wait, the rod racks are on their way.  I'm holding back a little to get better with the router..  ;)

Yea, she is pretty forgiving on my OOPses.   ~roflmao  At first, she was kind of apprehensive on what I could do or even come up with.  After the last couple projects she has gotten more confidence in what I am able to do.  Heck she even talked about upgrading my table saw already after hearing me complain about it being so limited.  She also keeps coming up with more stuff, all pretty challenging.   ::)

I was never good with angles, need to learn that more, my Dad was a cabinet maker that never got into the trade.  Man some of the stuff he made for people (for free) made my best stuff I ever made look like a kid amatuer.

DONE!!  Will wait for the paint to thoroughly dry before stocking it.

Nothing but a few 2x4s, and part of a sheet of sheathing, 4 harbor freight casters, and a handle from the dollar store, some wood glue, a few nails, and some cheap paint.  We won't mention the hundreds of dollars of tools and bits needed to make it that way.   ~roflmao

And for Lee Smith, I even de-pinked the laundry valet.

Not too bad for a bunch of studs, harbor freight rollers, and a dollar store plant hanger.  Oh yea and the $15 piece of pipe.   ~xyz
