Welcome to the Ultimate Bass New Members Contest!

To all new members of UltimateBass.com,

Welcome to the site. As our way of saying thanks for joining us here at UltimateBass.com we have set up a New Member's Contest just for you. All you need to do is make a total of 5 posts to qualify. Any post you make anywhere throughout the entire site will count, but at least 1 must be posted here so we know that you want to be entered in the contest. Any other posts that you have already made will show up in your post count as well. If you haven't done so already, stop by the Let Us Get To Know You board and tell us a little about yourself. That will give you another post toward the 5 you need. Each week on Friday one name will be drawn from the list of new members in this thread who have reached 5 or more posts. So check back each week to see if you are the lucky winner. The sooner you post the better your chances are of winning!

But Wait, there is a bonus! If you joined this month and you don't win a prize you will get a second month's worth of chances to win. Your name will stay on the new members list until the end of next month and automatically go into next month's contest.

If you signed up after the last drawing of the month don't worry. You will still be entered in the next two month's drawings.

Some Important Information You Need To Know

If you win a contest drawing you will receive a PM with instructions to follow so that we can get your prize out to you. You will have a maximum of 30 days to respond to this PM. If we do not hear from you within the 30 day grace period your prize is forfeited.

Even though the prizes are drawn weekly they will not be mailed out until after the first week of the following month. The winner's screen-name will be posted each weekend in this thread and again in next month's contest, along with those names that get a second chance.

You must provide us with a correct, and current mailing address. That is the only address we will ship to. Ultimate Bass is not responsible for packages returned to us for an incorrect address. We will not reship an item if you have not provided us with a correct, current address.

If you are planning on moving please let us know which address to ship the item to. That is the only address we will ship to. If the item is returned to us for an incorrect address we will not reship the item.

Sorry for the confusion. It was late (for me) and I realized I hadn't got this board up in time so I got out of bed and set it up.

The short answer is yes, unfortunately your name had to come off the New Members contest list. Just so you understand why here is the way it works:

All the names are drawn by a two-step random generator process each week. The first step takes all of the names, scrambles the order and assigns a number to each. The second step picks a number from the available list and the name assigned to that number is the winner for the week,

When you enter, your name goes on the list for the month you entered and the month after that. You entered in October, so you had October and November for chances. Unfortunately, the random generators didn't come up with your name in that time, so yes your name had to come off the list for the New Member contest. Sorry about that.

You are of course still eligible to enter the weekly contests as long as you are a member here. There is no time limit for entering those other than the duration of the individual contest itself.

And Charter and Life members also have giveaways and field-test opportunities when they arise.

Well, I can't believe it but another year has come and gone already. With last night's drawing that is going to wrap up not only the December contests, but the 2015 contests drawings.

To all new members who enter between now and January 1st, don't worry. As stated above you will be put on the list starting with the first contest in January and will have two full months worth of chances to win.
