Is there any performance difference between the HD and HD Custom (JDM). I see it has standard mag force not mag force z as well does the custom have Z? If there isn't a performance difference other than cosmetics I'll save the $80 extra. Basically reel is gonna be a dedicated Swimbait/A Rig reel. A rig beat the piss out of my Citica lol

what you'll find is the the regular mag is more forgiving when casting

Magforce Z has an inductor that is spring loaded. Meaning, if you snap your wrist on the cast, it will help to control the spool more to prevent backslashes. Regular Magforce does not, but will sling heavier baits better due to the set inductor.

Thanks for info didn't know the difference. After some more research it looks like only differences are cosmetic. Both US and JDM versions have only Magforce. For a Swimbait/A-Rig reel I'm just gonna go cheap and grab the US version off eBay it's going for around $119.

Yeah but they are now banned in any qualifying tournaments within CBN. Sorry for long response time lol.
