Finally got a change to get out of the and wet a line. This lake is pretty decent sized and on the south side of the city. Never been there, but it shows promise. Nice thing is the lake is almost 100% accessible at the shore and has a sandy/rocky bottom. Jig heaven!

Wore my shoulder out with the LSCR/Core swimming a Jig. Didn't see much activity at the surface so I tried a slow roll and banging it on everything I could find. Nadda.

About 0900 started seeing some activity with something busting bait fish on the surface. I didn't bring my topwater rig as the weather has been in the 50's for the last week. I kinda assumed topwater was over  ~roflmao

Ran a senko wacky rigged and texas rigged for about an hour and gave up.

Not a single gust of wind or ripple on the water. Water was stained with 6" of visibility at best.

On a side note, installing Hedgehog ZR bearings with Alchemy Light oil in my Curado 50, made me have to relearn how to cast this reel  ~beer~ Felt good to get out and wet a line

Thanks for the report and it's not always about catching fish just getting out and enjoy fishing if you catch something in the process that's a bonus . ~c~ ~c~

Nice to see reports from your way  ~c~ Even though it was tough, I would have love to be out... Haven't seen water in over two weeks. :surrender:
