Wow, wow, and more wow. All I have to say is this thing is a casting machine. I have a few pretty tuned Zillions, but there is no comparison of casting ability. I spooled this reel with 40# Power Pro and tied on a swimbait. No weight added, just a 5/0 EWG hook. This thing will cast about 40yds with ease. I can set the dial to "A" for all around and there is no lack of performance. I played around with the 4,3,2,1 settings, but they seem to limit you to the distance you are looking for. Example, if I set to 2, I better be casting for distance. Otherwise on a shorter cast it will start to backlash. The whine from the DC is back and pronounced. The ergonomics of the reel is killer. Palming the reel, I honestly like my Zillions better. The only thing I really don't like about the reel is the handle, but that will soon change.

LMG was nice enough to let me play with his new reel today. All I can say is that this reel is very..very nice. I got to hear first hand the distinctive whine of the DC system. My new Scorpion DC is quieter in that regard. Nonetheless, the DC system is very cool and interesting to watch while casting. LMG congrats again. Sweet reel you got there.

Can you explain the DC system in comparison to svs and vbs?
