My beautiful bride and I will be heading down to New Orleanes in October to celebrate our 30th anniversary. She'll let me go fishing if I let her hit the casinos. Sounds like a win/lose but anything for a day of fishing. Anyone have any info on guides etc. they can share? Won't be bringing tackle. Googled it and it looks like fishing the marshes for reds is pretty popular but didn't see much on bass except a park and lagoons in the city. Any help would be appreciated. Would really like to share a day with a U.B. Member and more than split expenses and can reciprocate in the Chicago area.
Would be week of the 12th.
Fishing should be fun-
Just like life.

Coach, the reds are running wild down there and bass are mixed in with them.  Any of the marsh guides and put you on some bass along with some HUGE reds  ~c~

We fished with http://www.fishstbernard.com/ and loved every minute of it! He put us on the fish and kept us on them! I would recommend him...
