My Boys Growing Up Fast

Got home a little after 6 this evening and we got a call from Grayson saying he caught a 30" catfish while trolling with his PawPaw and the owner of our campground on the pontoon. I'm sure they were trolling for Walleye since they were using Nightcrawlers as trailers but Grayson caught this one.
When I said 30", must have been a good fight he said "Yep my back still hurts"
I don't know if it's 30" but it's a great catch for a 10 year old.

I bet she did. I can remember once after being up all night catfishing and Diana woke up to a bathtub full of fish.

I gotta confess. Some years ago my son slept in for early morning bass fishing. When I got back I put a stringer of live bass in bed with him. Lol

After looking at the picture closer I realized he is on the houseboat lol. It's a bachelor pad so anything goes there.

Same thing happened to me. We were trolling for crappie and my rod just lays down. And it ended up  being a 28" blue cat.
