You can use any good skirt, I use the ones from NuTech lures, they flair better than most IMO.  Put the skirt in the eye of the hook, 1/4 way in then run the hook through from one side to the other, once the eye comes through on the other side, pull the skirt to even out and your done.  Pretty easy have done it with a few different frogs.

Hope this helps!

I've only replaced them on one frog. Have not used the material from Nutech, but if Lee says it's good, then you can bank on it!  ;)

I used the round rubber from Living Rubber Company. I like the rubber because it's got some buoyancy to it & it flares good too. Only issue I have with rubber is it eventually deteriorates, but to me the extra action is worth having to replace it occasionally. I use it for some fly tying as well.

I've got a little latch hook/crochet tool that's commonly used for womens hair extensions or crochet that's perfect for installing a section of the rubber material. These are very handy tools & can be obtained in most sewing or crafts stores for just a few dollars.

The tool looks similar to this:

I have an assortment of sizes of those hooks for various jobs.

The one used for rug making is actually heavy enough to help with knot tying and tightening for these old hands.

You can also find them in the European Carp fishing sections or sites, they use them for baiting and have an assortment of sizes and lengths.
