I went fishing today and packed light. All I brought were a few soft plastics and a couple jigs. I started catching fish when I put on my Bluegill colored Nutech Jig. When I fish jigs, it's on 40 lb braid with a 20 lb flouro leader. After catching 2 fish on the jig, I casted my line out, and my knot from braid to flouro failed on the cast, so there went my jig. Luckily, I had another one exactly like it that was brand new. When I pulled it out of the box, just the naked head of the jig came out. The band had somehow broken just sitting in my tackle box, and it was my last one. I noticed that the o-ring on the wacky tool was about the same size as the band. I then was able to slide the skirt down the wacky tool and slide an o-ring onto the skirt. When I put it on the jig, it was just as tight if not tighter a fit as the band, and I was able to catch 2 more decent bass for the day, and the jig is still going strong.
