Might be getting a Legend soon.  I live near some saltwater fishing opportunities, so I might be looking at a hybrid boat type.  I saw Legend's Alpha 211 with SeaDeck and Saltwater components at the Classic, and was contemplating getting that one, but the V20 just looks like a better fishing platform.  I also heard that the Alpha 211 is the better rough-water hull.

Thoughts?

Welcome aboard Captain! Wish I could answer your questions but I'm not a Legend guy. We do have quite a few here though and I'm sure they'll have the answers you're looking for. Stop by the Let Us Get To Know You board, meet the family and tell us a little about Captain Solo. -Jim

I've run the alpha 211 since it was designed and absolutely love it. Great rough water ride! The best in the bass boat industry IMO. The v-20 should be as good of a ride but I can't vouche for that. I've been in the v-20 and the fishing space and storage are amazing! When I go to get a new one I'm going to the V-20.

I would think the 211 would be just a touch better in rough water due to it being a little longer boat. Often times, one more foot will reach those big waves to keep things smooth.

The V-21 is gigantic  :shocking: I can't see an angler needing anything more in that boat.

Might be a basis for a good bay boat.
