Mike put a great article on the first ever B.A.S.S. High School All-American Team out on the front page.  ~c~  Give it a read when you get a chance.

As it turns out, one of these 12 exceptional youths is also a member here at Ultimate Bass. His screen name is Ryanfishing. His real name is Ryan Wood and he is from Colorado.  The tournament will be held on Barkley Lake, and Ryan has never fished there.

Ultimate Bass members pride themselves on helping each other out, so I am asking any members that have  knowledge of Barkley preferably through experience in fishing the lake, or if you know somebody who does, to give a fellow UB member a hand. Please PM Ryan with any and all info. you are willing to share with him. I assure you he will be very grateful. And I am sure he would be willing to give a shout out to UB and the members who helped him out.

He is a very personable and pleasant young man to talk with and his resume at such a young age is as impressive as both his work ethic and academic record. I have no doubt he will represent the future of our sport well.

This is cool!!!
A young guy from my state, that isn't exactly known for it's bass fishing, wins on a national  level! Sounds like a bright future ahead.
Congrats Ryan!
