On a lighter note.  I have decided to actually advertise my rods business for the first time and with the help of my teenager have built a FB page.  I was told to tell all my friends to go to the FDX Custom Rods FD page and like it.  Not sure why but the teenager told me to and Lord knows that teenagers know everything.

I have a full time gig trying to run a construction company for now, but I'm trying to build a clientele before I retire from construction.  A little extra income doing something I like sounds like a good retirement plan.

Setting up a Facebook page is a good first step to getting that clientele built up. You'll want a website at some point. Nothing fancy really, just somewhere you can post your work, or perhaps a blog. Any of these would be beneficial. I dig the rods you build, so i'm going to look up that Facebook page and like it.

I went to the park for a little bit today. Wind was crazy, fish were not biting. The one fish I did manage to catch almost got stolen from me when an Osprey dived towards my fish 12 ft in front me. As I yanked the fish out of the way, the osprey missed and I lost the only fish of the day. Lol!! May is going to be interesting for me fishing.

Well here she is. 25.75 Inches and weighed 7.7 Lbs. new PB for me.

I was on the phone talking with the wife on Speaker with the phone laying on my lap. I was still fishing. When she slammed my frog I told the wife "I got a monster on, I got to lay the phone down".

She got to listen to me catch it and go kind of crazy for a bit. I was hoping for 8 lbs to make the FWC program, but I'm happy anyway.

Yup. My best 4 came on a Frog all in the afternoon. Caught two on a T-Rigged worm in the morning, nothing but small swipes on the Frog in the am.

Guys I gotta admit it, I think I might of contracted Lou-itous. I think I have become addicted to Frog Fishing.

Honestly I got to thank Lou for helping me with all the questions I pestered him with when I first began trying to learn how to fish with a Frog. The progress I have made in the last two months amazes me compared to where I was over the last two years before talking with Lou.

I think I caught more today (4) than I had caught with a Frog over the last 2 years before. My hook-up ratio is climbing and I'm getting more strikes and more vicious strikes at that.

Now as to what I am doing, well I'm sworn to secrecy so if you want to learn you'll have to ask the Master Frogger himself.
