Nice job Fred. What ruler are you using? Is that a metal ruler? If so, how long is it?

Way to go deadeye,  ~c~, I tried to catch up today but only got  3 dinks, very slow today in my area of the woods, but very nice day anyways.
just a stick with a string tied to it

Deadeye

Lou, it is a metal Yard Stick they carry in the Hardware Dept at Walmart. One hole for hanging in already in it and I put two more in and screwed it fast to the deck. If the numbers wear off you can turn it over and put back on.

Been on there exposed to the elements for 5 years and still looks like when I put it on.

Good to know thanks. PZ was right. The blue mustad rulers reflect the sunlight pretty good. So when you take a pic sometimes the numbers can't be seen unless i take the second close up pic of the tail.

I know no one has submitted catches in the last few days. Just a reminder, we wrap this month up on Sunday night. I will have another thread good to go for June before then. Next month we begin summer patterns, should be interesting to see if the group as evolved since last summer. Good luck this wknd.  ~gf

Thanks was great getting back out. Been in a tie 50-60Hrs a week and then having to travel. Had to "book" this trip to my regular spot, even though she's drying up. Was awesome just wetting a line.  Great morning with a bunch of shorts, and then the two larger fish

At least you caught one and that's better than catching none. ;D

FD and WEST, I documented each of your catches.

FD, you are parked .25" behind me....  ~sweat  WTG this month!!

Capt. BassinLou

There is a 99.9% chance I am done for the month. I thought I may be able to escape to my big bass spot today, but with my FIL still in the hospital and my Mother's birthday, I am pretty much done. I am thankful I was  able to get out and fish 2 days this month and at least hang with some you boys.  lo

There is a lot of time left in the day and I'm curious to see and hear how Rick and LMG's Lake O adventure turned out.

Just a reminder I will close out the month of May some time tonight once I know all you of you are officially done for the month.  ~cf

TOOK, if the numbers remain the same through out the remainder of the day, you took 5th place with 86.5" and 22" being your longest fish. Top honors right now belongs to Deadeye with his 25.75" pig.

Sounds good, wish I had more than 3 trips (and really wish I didn't have the one escape while trying to photo haha). June is going to be another rough one if we don't get a large amount of rain! Great month everyone,  I love this place!!!
