Good possibility, many freshwater plastics work in salt.

I would think so. This particular bait can mimic many different bait fish species. Something I've found great about it is all the appendages. While its got a crazy amount of action, sometimes all that action will not exactly represent what fish are eating.

So you can pinch off pieces to design your own bait. If it's got to much tail action, pinch off the tails. If you need a bait with tails but no side appendages, then pinch off the unnecessary items. 

With the Swamp Hog you have several baits in one.

In a good tidal current, you don't have to do any kind of work with them, just toss them out and let the current move everything.  IF you have squid in the water, all those appendages are very enticing to predators who love squid.
