Lou. Forgot to tell you if the hose is plugged take an old wire coat hanger and push out the mud. Any cable stiff enough will do it too.

I know a couple of guys that carry a small roll of cable just for doing that at the ramp if they need to, don't take long for them to plug it up.

Also you don't need it to pee to run it. It is only there for a Visual Guide that the impeller is working. Only do that in an Emergency though.

Thanks Fred. Did the wire thing, no obstuction what so ever. Could be the water pump may be out.

Might be. Mine they usually plug at the elbow right at the power head where it exits. I have to remove the elbow to check. Only plugged the hose one time.

In case anyone is interested Academy has 300 yrd power pro for 15 bucks. That beats the 150 you would get for about 14 bucks from walmart.

Never been to an Academy Sports, but they are or have built one in Lake Mary so I'll try to find it and check them out.

Thanks for the heads up!

Deadeye- The Lake Mary Academy Sports is open. It is across from the Gander Mountain Store. I was there a couple of weekends ago and it is nice- they have a lot of fishing stuff.

On the other side of Lake Mary BLVD or in that other shopping plaza beside Gander?

Had three hours to fish and I am trying to learn something new again this year, which is frog fishing.

Caught 4, lost 2 and missed a couple. Hey I'm getting better.

Congrats on the productive outing. Frog fishing can be exhilarating and frustrating all in one cast.   lo

Love Academy, quite a drive for me but I cant wait to go.  Their lipless baits are one of the best I have used.
