FD, as far as the rules, they have been deleted for some reason or another. Not a problem, I will submit a new thread with revised rules. Fortunately, you have been with us for a while, and you know the rules pretty much. As far as your vacation fish go. Enjoy your vacation.  All competition fish will be from FL. The only exception to this, is for an active military participant that is a fellow Floridian.

That's what I thought, but I could not remember for sure.  So I went looking for the rule thread, which I could not find.  So I posted here, which you responded to.

200 Senkos!!!!!!!

God help us  ~sweat.

Hey man whatever works for you is the way to go. Lou loves his Frogs, I used to use almost nothing but Speedworms, West was into Spinnerbaits, everyone has/had a favorite. Thing about this contest is it has made me stretch beyond my comfort zone and learn new things if I want to stay competitive in the Game.

Now I still use Speedworms, why because in certain conditions nothing works better! But I now also use Flipping Jigs, Swimming Jigs, Swimbaits, and other things that I used to never use and didn't even like.

This contest has truly made me a better Bass Fisherman and for that I am thankful.

Same here deadeye. Ive learned so much. Before i would only exclusively use senkos because its the only thing i had confidence in but since i started this competition ive caught fish an the bama rig. Cranks. Swim Jigs. Flip jigs. My next thing is to learn flippin into heavy cover. Punching. Now i fish from the bank and have found little to no places to use this technique. I normally have to make a regular cast i to those areas.

I still like the senko because without a doubt it works on every body of water i fish. So it has more value to me than other baits that i cant use on every body of water. Thats really what it boils down to lol.

The March thread is locked but I just wanted to point out the the top 8 were only separated by 9 inches. Those bags would have put you in the money in most any tournament including the Elites.  Now I know it was over a month and we are in Fl, but never the less, that was some damn nice fishing gentlemen.

Thats cool. Just a suggestion wasnt sure if it would make life easier for you or not.  I wasnt sure what your current method was. If you need to delegate anything im available to help with whatever is needed.
Thank you for offering Rick.

I got so frustrated with it that I just deleted it from my phone.   ~xyz  ~rant  Probably will wait a while and try again though, I miss keeping up when I'm out and about.

If this is a double post i apologize. I created a revised rules thread since the previous one was deleted. Pls look them over, and let me know if i messed up anywhere and any corrections need to be made. I am stepping out and returning a little later. Thanks.

Ok.....  ~sweat..... lo

Because of Rick.... Just kidding bud. Great suggestion. I have included in the Rule thread, a second post with the description and explanation of the AOY. Please understand for anyone contemplating or currently in our club, you do not have to make a year long commitment. This is just for those that choose to compete for the long term. If you desire to compete just for a month just to see how you do amongst other anglers that is perfectly fine to.

Nice job on the pics West and way to get on the board with a good fish.

Crankbait huh?, yeah sure Senko on a jig is what I'm thinking.........

West6550

Fred it was a square bill swimbait. This actually:

The one I lost was on a chrome torpedo style Cordell I grabbed out of the "bait bonanza" box at Wal-Mart last week.

Just for you WEST! lol   ~shade

From 5pm to about 7:30, not one bite. I tried the Senko in different colors, I tried a swimming craw, and a trick worm. Nothing.
As I was ready to call it quits I decided to wacky rig one of my black and blue senkos. Of course I was to lazy to put a smaller hook on there so I just used the 3/0 I had on. First cast, wack! Approximately 10 inches or so.
Of course on the next cast I get hung up and lose my hook and senko. O well.
Tried the owner weedless wacky hook and put it on another black and blue senko to catch my second fish. This was about 12 inches.

My review on the owner weedless wacky hooks: They are great, no hang ups on rocks or grass. Though I was not fishing at my usual rock ledge lake. So it still needs further testing. For now its a 5 out of 5 stars. Also the hook set on this fish was 10 x better than the ones with the metal protector.

Rick I have used Senko's either Texas Rig or Wacky Rig. I do think that the Wacky does seem to catch more fish. I think it is the dual action of the worm as it falls that does it.
