TOOK.... I told you..... Less than hour than we chatted and the leader board as changed. You can understand why I get a chuckle when people put fish on the board in the beginning of the month and they start seeing a victory with virtually 4 weeks of fishing still left to go.  .... gets me every time.

Lol never count the chickens too soon. Great group of fishermen here and the numbers prove it!

Fred, congrats on the grandchild. I am parent as well. So when my time comes which is still many years from now, I too will be next to my kids when they are expecting their own child. It's what we parents do.

Thanks. We were there in the room when our first (middle daughter's) was born. I was told before hand that you think you know love..... until you see your first Grandchild. Then you do.

I didn't understand what they meant but now I do. I can't explain the feeling that came over me when I saw that little guy for the first time. She now has four and each one is special.

I can't wait for the next line of little ones to begin and she has waited so long for this to come for her.  No way I'm missing that.

Never won before so just did what Mike said to. I have some of their 1/4 oz Black/Blue Pro Jigs that I flip light cover with. I asked for a 1/2 oz Elite Jig in Bluegill to use for a Swimbait Jig.

Looking forward to getting it, it's been on my list.

Think someone paid off my bass cause nothing was going down today. Fished hard and caught one 14.5 to start, then NOTHING. Ended up throwing stuff to catch mudfish / Gar cause it seed they were the only fish home.

Also, think I may have only Monday (maybe) to fish. Wife told me tonight we're are leaving Thursday for a mini vacation at the beach

They were hitting as I dragged the worm through the rocks.  The last one I caught in the same style but with a needle worm in black.

Holy sh#t he's drowning her must be some Bdsm haha! usually I see some good activity on the water but today was just dead, except gars and muds. Fingers crossed I'll be out tomorrow afternoon. Still can't believe that duck shot!

I'm heading out in a bit to hit a spot/lake that I haven't fished in quite some time since mid-summer last year. Have no idea what is going on with it, but have a few ideas of what & where to try.

These ducks are so conditioned to being around humans at the park that they did t give a crap i was casting. One tried to eat my worm. 2 were doing it right i. Front of me. Another posted yp right next to my leg facing the same direction i was and sat down Next to me. Lol. I had to move. They were crowding me lol. Before that i had to deal with about 25 seagulls. Some girl was feeding them french fries. Of course i had to stop throwing my jerk bait cause they would swoop down and try to grab it.
Took I envy your quiet lake where its just you and nature. The lakes i fish are a flippin circus. I have people stop me as im walking to the lake to fish to ask a million questions about the fishing. Or to give me "advice". Such as the other day i was told the baits i was using wouldnt work. Shiners is the secret to catching fish.
I have people camp out next to me to watch me fish but then wont stop talking. I have kids trying to ask me if they can borrow the rod im not using right at that moment. Dodging seagulls and ducks. Kids throwing what can only be described as boulders into the lake. The endless blaring regetton music. And all i want to do is fish and relax. Lol.

Canals are slighly better but i have yet to find consistent fish in canals with the exception of canals in the glades. Snapper creek not far from me has produced 1 small peacock in maybe 10 or 12 outings. The one we went to was desolate. Ive fished 8th street by fiu and nothing other than manatee sightings. Ive gone down to the racetrack in homestead. Also nothing. Been to a canal in west kendal and again nothing lol. So i have to put up with the circus at the park if i want to catch fish lol

We get pelicans begging for bait.  If you toss them one, they start to clap their beaks making a nasty racket until you toss them another piece.

There is a Mormon church nearby, and they make the rounds with their little pamphlets, twice a day.

At least I get something to read when the fishing is slow, I guess.

Then you have to watch for the Mesikans that want to steal your gear while you are standing there.  Jeeze.

Piers aren't too bad, just a couple of the parks around here, and the theft thing is kind of cyclic.  I think they learned that they don't mess with the old gringo with the red truck because he is kind of crazy and armed with a 6 ounce lead.

Yeah Geese in mine too. If you are night fishing and you wake up a duck they just waddle out of the way. If you wake up the Geese, holy crap. I found out last night, they do not like to be disturbed. They get aggressive. LOL

Sorry Pz3, fishing has been slow for me. Trust me I would love to post some good fish. The lake I caught those nice ones early this month isn't producing anything bigger than 12 inches for me using the same baits. Maybe I caught all the big ones and now they look at my bait and go "Ha I ain't fallin' for that trick again. lol
