Keep this in mind. In October we all gather from across the state at Lake Kissimmee. We call it the Bragging Rights Classic. Last year was our first one, and we had very good time. Deadeye was our very first Classic winner. So mark your calendar, the first wknd of October, Grape Hammock, on Lake Kissimmee. Here was last year's thread.  http://www.ultimatebass.com/bass-fishing-forum/index.php?topic=119096.0
I am down for that! Me and the Yak will do some traveling.  Looks like a BLAST!

Looking forward to meeting you. Hopefully we have enough boaters so that the non-boaters will have back seat availability. This year i expect the turnout to possibly double from last years numbers.

Had an awesome time out with Jim (Bassindude) today.  We fished from his boat in his new local place Lake Istokpoga.  Started at first light and fished through a rain spurt then gave up when the second one hit us.  I'm glad we stuck out the first one cause I grabbed another cull before we headed in. I think I ended up with 7 fish total and a few lost in the swampage lol

Jim caught some awesome fish as well. Including a 19.5" I believe it was.

Our AM.

My culls.

18" lipless bluegill crank

19" black and blue EZ swimmer

20" (4 lbs 13oz) watermelon EZ

Had: 15, 15, 15.5, 16, 20 = 81.5

Now: 16, 18, 19, 20, 21 = 94"

Now if I can turn that 16 & 18 into 20's I'll be in the 100" golden jacket club lol

Yeah... yeah.... I am not falling for this sad story again.  Lol!! ;)

Good Call Lou, well almost.

Went in the rain anyway. Caught two, lost two. One each of both on Flipping a Jig and Swimjig.

First one was 14 which culled my 13.5. Then I lost one at the boat that would have been at least 19-20. Crap. Made up for it with a 22. Weighed 4.4 lbs on my scale, which might be off. Last fish I weighed I figured for 4 lbs and the scale said 3. This one I figured at least 5 and the scale said 4.4???? Who knows.

Anyway That gives me 14.5 + 15 + 15.5 + 18.5 + 22 = 85.5   Really could of used the ones that I lost, might of made Lou scared then LOL.

Here it is and Me & Fish

WEST jumped to 1st and Fred you jumped to 5th.

Deadeye

Yeah looking at her versus yours West, I can see how skinnier she was. Definitely spawned out.

Great fight though!

You and me both Fred. I lost a 18-19" at Kissimmee a few weeks back on an EZ swimmer. That one would have placed me at .5" ahead of WEST right now. So trust me..... losing a nice fish amongst you guys hurts!!  ~roflmao

Fred, i am looking forward to October. There is a trophy I would like to claim.  ~shade

TOOK.... I told you..... ~roflmao Less than hour than we chatted and the leader board as changed. You can understand why I get a chuckle when people put fish on the board in the beginning of the month and they start seeing a victory with virtually 4 weeks of fishing still left to go.  ~roflmao.... gets me every time.

This guy, hasn't even got his hands on the BRAOY Award yet and already he wants the Classic Trophy! LOL

I hope I can make it again I sure want to. My oldest is expecting her first (twins at that) around the 3rd week of October. Really depends on where she is along at that time. I seriously doubt she'll make it that far as big as she is getting already and not through the first tri-mester. Of course Mama and Daddy will be there when it happens!

Fred, congrats on the grandchild. I am parent as well. So when my time comes which is still many years from now, I too will be next to my kids when they are expecting their own child. It's what we parents do.

I was able to request another fishing trip too. It isn't a bass trip but it should be awesome. Going camping to Cayo Costa State Park for July 4th. Supposed to be great fishing out there, Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Snapper.

Its an island, North of Captiva , West of Cape Coral. You can only get to it by boat, ferry, or helicopter.
My buddy is taking his flats boat. The nice thing is, he is getting it ready for the trip. So he wants to take it out on Ida/Osborne a few times and do some bass fishing to make sure everything is good to go. Maybe even Okeechobee after Ida.
