Crappy photo but drop the 13.5 and add a 14.25

14.25+15.5+16.5+16.5+19= 81.75

Just getting in, interested day. Finished with a 20.5 that I'll get pics posted soon. Also, had a cottonmouth chase my Punch rig up to my kayak, definitely a NO NO! I have rules,  no cottonmouth, no lightning,  and no wasp while fishing from the Yak!

Gotta have those snips ready to cut your line haha. Speaking of wasps, the area ive been fishing lately has bouys that have wasp nests like 6-12 inches across, almost every single marker. Last time out, atleast 10 times we would have a giant wasp circling the boat

Was already prepping the cut and loss of 15$ worth of punch weights lol. Gators I can handle, cottonmouths are EVIL, and being that close to the water with no where to go is a whole other problem! Wasp are the same way.  In a kayak you cannot get away from them when they swarm, the harder you paddle the more they attack.

First of all, prayers go out to the LMG family.

Secondly, my day out on the trail was horrible. I mean I found a perfect spot with fish everywhere. I could see largemouth everywhere, and good sizes too. There were guppies, baby gators, lots of gar and other fish. It was an all day feeding frenzy, unfortunately I couldn't get anything to feed on my baits. There was a group of largemouth under the bridge where I was fishing from that would come out from time to time and wreck some little bait fish.

I tried all of the following:
-3 different color jigs. 2 different sizes (All Black with a black and blue craw trailer, Okee Craw color with Okee Craw trailer, Green/Chartreuse with a Green/Chartreuse stick bait trailer.)
-I tried Craw trailers, pit boss trailer, stick bait trailer, fluke trailer.
-Chatterbait
-Stick-O's. Watermelon Red, Green/Chartreuse, Black and Blue
-Cranks:  All Chrome, Silver/Yellow/Green

The only bait that worked for me at the end of the day was the Silver/Yellow/Green Crank. It caught me one 14.5 bass that wasn't big enough to replace any of my fish.It was extremely frustrating seeing so many fish and not being able to catch any. The Gar tried to hit my jigs when I was swimming them but their mouths are to small so I didn't hook any.
I guess that's what I get for talking smack. LOL. There is a very strong chance that I won't be able to get out to the glades anymore this month. I may have to rely on some park fish to come up big.
Oh, and I forgot about my fishing buddy, posted up next to me catching little guppies.

Rick, in situations like those, watermelon seed fluke or watermelon red flake really get the fish going. I see you used a fluke as a trailer but that's a little different. Also, a zara spook or a frog could illicit strikes as well.

Yeah I only had green flukes from bass assassin and to be honest I didn't even think about using just the fluke. Doh. They were defiantly hitting fish. Which is why the crank worked. Unfortunately I lost both my cranks including my super awesome one that I loved.

Oh and I didn't take any top water. I have no confidence in my skills with a frog. I can't seem to walk them properly even after watching videos.

Walking the frog isn't as important, just having the frog moving will get you great results. Fortunately, the clues were there but the baits used did not get the job done. Lesson learned I guess. Also a jerk bait thrown on your spinner would have been really fun. Rapala's in the F7- F9  sizes are really deadly. Gold and silver black always got me fish.
