WEST, I have a sincere question for you. Since you have fished LEWS reels for quite sometime. Comparing the previous models you have had, how do the new models you've recently acquired stack up?

FD

I just got a box from TW last night full of LiveTarget bait balls in shallow cranks and traps that are golden shiner.  We will see how they work.

Got to go out for a little while this afternoon.  Only got this one in the boat on a melon shad ez swimmer.  I had one that was about four pounds on the line when she jumped about a foot out of the water, did a little spin and came unhooked.

Some Lake Seminole bass from yesterday. Caught a dozen or so and these were my top 5. Unfortunately did not break the 18 inch mark.

17 + 16 + 17.25 + 17.25 + 17.5 = 85 inches

17.25 inches

17 inches

16 inches

17.25 inches

17.5 inches

Well done good sir!

Hooked up a 12-13 inch fish on the trusty senko but lost it just as I got it 4 feet away from me in the shallow water. Oh well, not big enough to cull. Then I caught this guy throwing my yellow and purple buzzbait. I figured what the hell time to try something new. This is the first top water bass I landed. After the other day missing a nice one with this buzz bait I decided to just wait on it to pull down on the bait, then I set the hook.

This dog needs to learn some new tricks. The bite has slowed down at the lake were I have caught all my fish this month. Having a hard time getting them to bite even the senko. They hit the jigs but those don't last long with the rock ledge.

Tried when it got dark I tried a plum colored trick worm on a shakey head jig but got no bites. A black senko with blue tip a hawk hawg and a black needle worm. No interest in any of them.

Anyways this guy is 13.25 but isn't big enough to cull. Just thought I would post.

Hit a spot today, missed one by a culvert at my feet and missed another felt small with a burner craw.
Spot I fished had shells, muck, veg. felt it all and where it changed, especially with the weight pegged, knew the entire time when I was in contact with the bottom and not which is more than I can say about the dobyns. Very pleased with today, this is exactly why I got the rod. Thanks again for the advice LMG.

Well done good sir!

Thanks - will need a mess of them a whole lot bigger this weekend to go home with the win on Seminole. I imagine things only getting hotter the next few days.
