Losing fish hurts especially when they are nice. Did the 14" bounce off your head and fell back into the water??
No it landed on the deck unhooked.  I grabbed it and bump boarded it. 14" and a toss back.

Also the blue aluminum board sat on the deck. (Sarges new BassTracker) I ran the TM for him.  He's new to fishing but been out almost everyday off since his wife bought it for him lol

What Tracker did he get? What year? Does it have the livewell on the port side?

Cool. I like trackers. I have owned mine for 15 yrs. The new ones however have a livewell on the port side that kills any additional storage you could have had. The livewell serves no purpose there.

West6550

His in the middle rear just behind the seats.

Capt. BassinLou

Ah... so he has model that's before 2014 then.

It probably is, he bought new from a local place. Probably over stock.

Very nice boat. With a 75 horse or 60?

West6550

60.  It moves fine but four stroke is a slow hole shot.  But it's a great boat for sure. All wielded hull.

Some really nice fish this month! Those peas too lou. I wish I had time to get out there more often. Hopefully I put a few on the board this weekend

Is that tracker a CC?  I think both livewells are in the middle on them.

No it's single side console

Lou it's a Tracker 175 TF not the TXW. It's a 2015 I asked him.  His is vinyl not carpet but set up like this.

The front passenger side locker has tubes in it for rods.

I would seriously love to have one.

Took

Any of you using swimbaits?  I tend to do my best fishing in the thick mats here but started warming up to swimbaits, just ordered this and it looks promising

Nice layout on that boat, West.  The one I was looking at had a livewell under the seat in the center counsel and the one in the back / middle.  Don't know the model, but it was nice.  I like the coating instead of carpet.

Also I forgot, the blue aluminum sat on the deck all day and at no point was hot.  8)  It was warm out I got a little sun.

Cool... thanks for the heads up

Tell you what the fish were on fire this morning for about 5 minutes. Rushing a school of baitfish right at East Lakes Lakeside.

As soon as the sun poked through the early morning clouds they started chasing everything in sight.

The only one I caught was returned ASAP due to bleeding heavy. Probably around 14".

I caught 1 out of 5 fish in 5 minutes.  The bad hook up mostly due to the Diawa rod I have. It's rated as a medium but feels like a light.

Easily missed two 3lbers and one 4-5lb. The last seemed like a dink.

had to cut my time short and get some tasks done before work. Maybe another day I'll get em.

Capt. BassinLou

Using the wrong rod for an application can be frustrating. Adjust and try again.

West needed some sun. He is almost clear
