Finally got a chance to post....Hit a new spot on the island about 6:25. started out pitching a bb cricket texas rigged with a 4/0 and 3/16 tungsten unpegged to a culvert and some pads...Nothing...Saw two gators, one was the biggest I seen pond hopping and this little pond isnt that big and its in the middle of a really developed, business park with houses on the one side backed up...lol....anyway switched to a watermelon red tomahawk and worked the culvert. Dink....went to the opposite side and worked the outfall structure....hit and miss, spooked a couple....worked my way back on the long bank and landed a 15 or 16 incher. Got back to the culvert and called it a day.

Good call.......Better it came from you than lou, I would have had to insult him some more if that happened.  lo I was just shocked WEST caught fish  :o ...that don't happen every day now.  >:D

Um......yes. WEST went out yesterday and caught one fish. Rick went out last night. And PZ, went out today, with a rod measurement. So yes, i am ok.

Yeah thats 2 times now. I caught that when he called me west but figured it was a 1 time brain fart.

I try to document fish within 24 hours so when I say your fish has been documented it can be a catch from the previous day. I guess to avoid confusion and being the center of entertainment for some of you, I will quote the catch that I am documenting.

Hit Lake Hatcheniha today for the first time.  It was insane windy.  I managed 3 my sergeant managed not even a bite... out of his new boat.

Oh it was overcast most the day. Winds 15+ mph.  Water temp ranged from 75 on the lake to 80 in some shallow pockets.  Marion creek was 73.. crazy.

All on a very slow reel. Speedworm in junebug red.
