So with a few hours left I decided to forgo my chance to win or place higher in the standings, in the spirit of friendly competition. Instead I decided to go pick up my online orders from BPS.
My new Rods, BPS Bionic + Reel and a bunch of goodies.

This is indeed a "woops"Y reel! Wish the PQ looked this nice.

and to all you Senko/Sticko/Stick Bait haters, they had a buy 3 get 1 free deal so  O0 it I bought em!

Congrats to the winner this month!   ~beer~   ~beer~

Lou thank you for all the work you put into this friendly competition. I truly do appreciate it.   ~c~  ~c~  ~c~  ~c~  ~c~  ~c~  ~c~  ~c~  ~c~  ~c~  OH and Woops almost forgot to congratulate you on AOY! Nice job Lou!

Nice Rick!! You are on your way in building your arsenal.

Thanks Lou and Deadeye!
I am hoping that I like the Bionic as much as I like the PQ. If I do, next time its on sale I'll get me another to replace the megacast.
As far as baits go, I need to stop buying stuff. Seriously. The good thing is now I have 16x4 bags =64 BPS Stickos
150 more coming from Ebay.  Also planning on trying out the wacky rig for a change. Hope those "Weedless" Wacky Rig Hooks actually are "Weedless"

Nice haul Rick! I agree the PQS aren't pretty but they are work horses. I'd personally rather own an old beat up truck that never let's me down then a new pretty one I can't scratch.

Also I seen way to many senko type baits and circle hooks uugghh lol

Good luck PZ and yes congrats Lou.. even though you went into this month with a crazy lead lmao! You laid down a whooping for sure!

I know what I said earlier today in regards to my participation next month. After reflecting over today's events and cooling off. I am not going anywhere. I enjoy this competition way too much to let my feelings get in the way. I broke the last rule, which is " leave your feelings at the door" lesson learned, I am moving on.

I will get to work on creating April's Bragging Rights thread and the new BS thread.

I know your heart is in it Lou, you can tell by the way you keep up on top of everything-everyday. I hope during this upcoming year things flow smoother for you as most should have an idea of what the Game is and how to play.

Rookies Beware however, Lou has been know to eat Rookies before..... No wait that was Cookies. Never mind.

Capt. BassinLou

Thank you guys for the kind words in regards to the AOY. WEST, is was not a clear win as you might think however. With Fred's jump to 1st and Big Fish co-win, he made the maximum amount of points. Where it got real interesting was with the rest of the field and the surges that were occurring late in the competition. If I dropped a certain number of places which wasn't far from where I currently stood, I would have lost and Fred would have pulled off a narrow and awesome victory.

We had a good run. To compete an entire year is/was not an easy feat to accomplish. We had our ups and definite downs. Hopefully we all learned something over the course of this year and bring those refined lessons over into the new year of competition. I for one am looking forward to it.

Congratulations to all of you that participated with us through out the year. To the new guys in the group, I hope this was worth your while, and you will commit for a new year. With this crop of great anglers, next year's AOY race is going to be extremely challenging. Best of luck to you all.  ~gf

No circle hooks here good sir. Those are just weedless bait hooks. I don't think they have circle hooks in the freshwater section.

I have a few myself man lol oh and cheap trick for o wacky rings is to use a small zip tie... they are cheap. Snip the tag line and fish, you are right they last longer that way.

I knew they were wacky rig hooks but forgot they started putting out weedless ones. I had a few that never worked. The worm gets caught is the main issue with a wacky rig.

Capt. BassinLou

I will post our final March numbers later on today.
