***PLEASE READ - CHANGE***

We need to change our 2 day tourney up, BOSS is going to have over 100 boats on Caddo Lake on March 7th...launching from different ramps, all over the lake at different times, before safe light. For safety reasons, I have decided to move our first day (Saturday, March 7th) to Black Bayou Hosston...and fish our second day (Sunday, Mach 8th) on Caddo, as previously scheduled. If you see or can contact as many trail members as possible, please let them know about this change...or check our website/facebook page.

Our next event is a 2 Day tournament held on Black Bayou Hosston (March 7), and Caddo Lake (March 8th), out of Shady Acres ramp. This tournament requires a double entry fee of $120/team, to be paid at registration, and will use the payout schedule for double the number of boats entered. Everyone fishing this event will receive 2 qualifying events toward your Classic qualification. There will be a Big Bass payout for both day 1 and day 2. Team payouts will be a combined total weight of Day 1 (BB Hosston) added to Day 2 (Caddo) with prize money awarded accordingly.

Registration/take-off on Saturday (BB Hosston - March 7th) will be from 4:45am - 5:45am, with a first cast at 6:00am. Your Q-beam and running lights MUST BE IN USE while under power, if taking off before safe light, and running lights (front/rear) must remain on until sunrise (6:36am)...no exceptions, violators will be automatically disqualified and entry fees forfeited.

Day 2, on Caddo Lake March 8th, will be the start of daylight savings time (DON'T FORGET TO SET YOUR CLOCKS AHEAD) and we will be having livewell checks (at Shady Acres ramp) from 6:15am - 6:45am, with take-off set for 7:00am...you must have your livewells checked on day 2 in order to weigh in fish on day 2.

7 Pound Pot (optional) will be open to all current members, new members are not eligible to get in to this optional pot. There will be a single $10/boat charge, for both days...meaning it will pay out for the single biggest fish (over 7 pounds) on Saturday or Sunday.

If you have any questions, feel free to post them.

I've had a few emails/PM's asking the same questions, so I'll post their responses in case others have the same questions:

1. We will be fishing BB Hosston on Day 1 (March 7th), and Caddo on Day 2 (March 8th)...this is not an either/or tournament, everyone will be fishing the same body of water on the same day.

2.  BB Hosston and Caddo Lake will BOTH go OFF-LIMITS on Sunday (March 1st) at dark, until we launch on tournament morning...meaning after the BB Hosston event, Caddo is still off limits until Sunday (March 8th) morning.

3.  If someone fishes the BOSS event on Caddo, or any other event on Caddo, on Saturday (March 7) then they are not eligible to fish with you on the second day of our tournament on March 8th.

4.  The 7 Pound Pot is $10/boat for the entire weekend, meaning nobody puts another $10 in on Sunday.  It will pay to the largest for over 7 pounds for the two day event.

5.  There is a double entry fee ($120/team) required up front, which everyone fishing this event will get credit for 2 events on Classic qualification.  The payout will use the payout schedule for double the number of boats (example:  30 boats entered, we use the payout for 60 boats - $900/675/600/450/225/$150 with BB being $300 on Day 1 and Day 2) with Big Bass paid for each day.

6.  Every team must check in the morning of the tournament, livewell checks will be performed each day.  If you do not check-in on Day 2, you cannot weigh fish that day.

7.  Guest passes cannot be used for the 2 Day event.
