Flats, I fished specific cover and worked the jig as methodically as I could. The jig only weighed 1/4oz   but the wind took me out of the strike zone quickly. The fish were either there or not. No in between.

Well folks my hook set troubles continue. I lost 9 fish today in the glades. 0 ended up on the bank with me.   

Also there is a big chance that I hooked a  , my drag was screaming but it didn't feel like a fish at all. I couldn't reel it in and when I tried to pull the line with my hand/shirt I felt something extremely heavy on the other end. I finally gave up and snapped the line. Whatever it was, it went to the middle of the canal where I am assuming it was deepest and just hung out there till I snapped the line.

Next month is gonna suck for me. Only good chance I got is March 1st.  . I have my Anniversary, Wifes Birthday, MIL Birthday....Its March madness with her family.

My son's baseball season has kicked off and March is going to be tough too. Fortunately though i am coincidently fishing on the 1st again too.
