Looks like I'll need to play catch up again this month. Tough fishing on Lake Seminole this weekend - caught 3 fish in two days. 3 fish (20.5 + 18.5 + 18.5 = 57.5 inches total)

Had to go in early so I hit a spot at 5:50 am to 6:35. Air was 48, worked a trick worm on a 1/8 oz Texas rig. And nothing.

Caught 2 at the park today. This 18" and 12.25". Missed another nice 18" on the new frog. We battled a bit but it became unbuttoned.

No, the 2 were on a stickbait and the lost bass was on the Iobee. The frog walks very well. When i go to the glades and put it through fish abuse will i be able to say if i like it or not.

Here is what little I managed this AM. Caught about 10 fish and had fun but nothing huge. All caught on watermelon EZ swimmer.

None on beds. All in the back areas of ponds that run off the lake in the clearer water areas.

Honestly most were caught in spots that are normally not under water lol. All caught on slow rolling them.

Overcast skies, 63 water temp. Flat calm water.  No takers on the frog.

Its tough when the waters high, they spread out and search for food. Sometimes you really have to get back in the vegetation to find them. That boat you got now should be good for that.

I dealt with that the last 2 times I went to her Grandfathers lake. Good thing for boats like ours. lol.

At the pace im going Ill be lucky to catch 5 fish this month. Im gonna try a different body of water. I dont believe fish are raoming pre spawn areas yet but if they are they wont be this weekend after a cold front drops the water temps a few degrees. Supposed to be in the 20s this week. Im def struggling with putting anything together. I ran into a couple dudes on the chatt fishing a national trail and they couldnt even get a limit in the boat. Seen a Big fancy Z-9 launching on pad all day, came to the way in with one barely legal fish.

I am excited to try my shakey shads more. Think I am gonna rig it on z caster, boy I sure wish I had one that was stellar at lighter stuff...sigh....maybe one day
