Getting down to the wire

I just spoke with Paul Mueller (watch for the interview in the next couple days) and he felt that if he could get 17 pounds a day he'd have a good shot at winning it again!

17 x 3 = 51

He went on to say that with the stable weather, and if someone could find some fish that they could have to themselves, he wouldn't be surprised at 21 pounds a day....

I think 17 is a realistic number for Hartwell. Unfortunately when I made my bet I was thinking of a 4 day event. Oh well. However at Lake Murray this past weekend the Carolinas Bass Challenge Trail had 10 Boats that weighed greater than 20 lbs. So....Anything is possible. Will be interested to see if Skeet does well with the NuTech Elite Jigs.

GSLR - I tried to PM you, your box is full.

I recorded your guess as 47 lbs 3 oz. rather than 47.35. Hope that is OK. The official bassmaster weights are to the oz and I've never seen them split an oz. Last years weight 67.8 was 67 lbs 8 oz.
