Launchedout of Crystal Springs running up the lake to the south fork area. The previous weekend at the ABA tournament had a terrible day for bass, but killed the striper so I figured hey lets see if I can beat the one I caught during the tournament (first cast of tournament morning...BOOM 42lber), so I ran back to where I had caught the bohemouth striper, graph showed fish suspended just like the week before, 35' fish 58' water, just knew the stipers were still the, threw out the ol A-rig 10 or 12 times, BOOM hookset 7.5lb largemouth, continued that way with the biggest of the day being around 9lbs. All the time didn't catch the first striper.

Water temps....50-52 degrees
depth ....fish suspended in 35' of water
location....river bends of the south fork from Twin Creek landing back to area between Mt. Harbor and Denby
Bait....Homemade A-Rig with V&M smoking shad pork shad rigged on Daiichi D67Z BUTT DRAGGER, BLEEDING BAIT RED hooks to keep them weedless and help with hang ups on the submerged trees, also had a Road Runner pro-series 1/8oz underspin with the same V&M smoking shad pork shad
Rod....Rapsody Fishing's 'Bama Slammer Hot Rod Series for the A-Rig with 80# braided line on Lew's tournament series speed spools, RMBC701MHF, 7' Maestro series rod with 50#braid for the underspin.

don't know if anyone else has had this kinda of weird reversal, go looking for bass find striper, then go to catch striper and find the bass you were looking for the week before....oh the life of Riley... ~roflmao
