Well I didn't get a chance to go today but I do have a buzzer beater... Since my 16.5 didn't count last month, that means it counts this month. Was never tallied, so it culls my 13

Well... i was able to recover the photo using a jpeg recovery program, however sadly i lost a bunch of personal pics in a major snafu.

That 21.5" fish culls a 13.25" bass which moves me to 86.75".

Bummer about my other pics though.

Correct, so either its a winning fish for November or its a winning fish for December. Since it was deemed too late already for November, then it goes on this month I would think. Can't just say the fish doesn't count for either. Up to you guys which month you want it on, but I thought that was already ruled on.

I find we have had another end of the month buzzer beater with a questionable call. I will let the rest of the participating field make the final call. Evo has brought up his 16.5" catch that missed the November posting deadline. The fish was caught on the afternoon of Nov 30. However the pic was posted after midnight making it a Dec 1st post. The 16.5" fish would have made Evo's numbers for the month 89.5" vs his current 86".  I will let the group decide and then the final numbers will be posted. I am also waiting to hear from PZ. He could surprise us all.

I don't care cause I'm in 6th no matter what, but rules is rules.  It was posted late in Nov so it does not count and it was not caught in Dec so it does not count.

Admitting the catch to prior December faults it as a November catch, but delayed posting disqualified it to count for the month of November. To me it's a lost catch.

Chris I completely understand what your saying. Unfortunately, again, you missed the posting deadline last month. It's like having the winning bag at $$ tourney but because you lost track of time you were late to the weigh in, should you win if the tourney was over when you showed up?  You and I honestly know the answer to that. I don't know what else to say in this matter. However, like i mentioned in my previous post. I want the group to decide the outcome. Independent review.

K, then show me in your official rules post where it says fish has to be POSTED that month. It says CAUGHT that month. In my mind it should have counted last month. I never made a big stink of it, but I feel it was pretty stickler. I mean we let guys use rods to measure fish for Pete's sake. I posted like 37 minutes late for a fish caught that day and its totally dq'd? Wow

Ya when you are late its a half pound penalty per minute. Not a DQ. And those rules are set prior to blast off. Again show me in the rules post where it has to be posted by midnight of the last night

Following along with the analogy...I fish a lot of high stakes tournaments and it's a half pound per minute for the first 5 minutes and then you are DQ'd and if you try to weigh a fish you caught the day before, you are banned for life or beaten badly or both.

Dude, relax,  your pet fish will be there next month.  You can just go catch her again.

Fish caught during the month only should count. Fishing starts at 0000hours on the first. All fish must be posted by 2400hours the last day of the month.

As far as rulers go it doesnt bother me. Bump boards are great but a pain in the butt too if walking. So im fine with whatever on that part.

What about fish lower jaws? Should they be closed when measuring or open? I say open since closed it shortens the fish but.... its not easy keeping their mouths closed while taking a photo.

You pegged it PZ, caught during that month. I still say its a November fish but whatever. And FD, based on the ruling last month saying it was into this month I figured I could use it still. Can't see how a fish that's posted should be DQ. Doesn't matter, hitting the pond now

I thought this was supposed to be a light-hearted "competition" meant for fun. I guess we need to post the rules exactly and have each participant agree to them each month. No ifs, ands, or buts! Seriously, this is for fun with no prizes. Sometimes I just use common sense. Lol, for a while I thought a fish had to be of legal size to qualify!
