Chris. Let me clarify, I ran the numbers this time through my spreadsheet, (which I should have done earlier this morning instead I did it by hand) and you are indeed correct. If the fish would have been submitted on time you would have indeed won by .25". Unfortunately, due to simple human error, like you said, you thought the date was different, and it was the last day and final hours of competition. By the time you posted, it was past the 11:59 pm deadline. Frustrating and disappointing because you had the win.
You asked for a rule clarification, and honestly we have never faced a situation as unique as this one. I go with the time the fish was posted. It may not be the news you want to hear, and I understand if it upsets you and for that I am sorry. The lesson I will take from this is when it comes down toward the closing hours of the month, post your catches before time expires. Here is where I think the tapatalk app shines. Take a pic, and 3 seconds later you are posting. If its any consolation Chris, you have been kicking butt and taking names since you been with us and I expect you to do the same the same this month. You are a great competitor.

Hey for the record. I posted a fish after 0000 hours before in july? I did mention the fish before deadline but it never seemed quiet right to post after.

Didnt we hash this issue out that month I cant remember for sure.
