We are camping up in Ocala this weekend.  Going to bum around the old stomping grounds in Gainesville and hopefully see the Gators beat the Ol Ball Coach 🏈🙏😬

Starting to wonder if we will ever catch a bass again!

Catching fish like this that Shimano should last a century!  Lmao.

Nice fish Deadeye.

I was using a Shimano actually. And its several yrs old. I decided to throw spinning gear today, since MCS brought up a jerk bait topic on another forum. So I took out my Stradic CI4. Really nice reel also. ;)

It's all good West. I should have used this outfit this past Saturday. There were several bigger peacock's around. These bluebird skies really shuts everything down. Weather should be much more stable this weekend.

Thanks Lou.  I seen a guy on th dock as I was unloading get one on a fluke.  So I decided to try a slow approach.  Put my wide gap hook on to realize my fluke case was in the garage lol. So tried the ole speed worm.  Must were caught on the first slow fall.

Speed worms are great baits. Especially when you are burning them up top, and a nice bass chases it down and slams it.  As of now my glades trip this Saturday is a go. Hopefully, i can put up some stong numbers also.

FD

My total is now 0, which equals the number of casts I have made this month.  My left hand is swollen and I can't hold on to a baitcaster.  This getting old thing sucks...  Maybe this weekend.

Why is your hand swollen FD?

BOATS

Have not had the chance to get out this month yet, have a Tx this Saturday, should be almost ice fishing weather but you never know how they will bite.

Deadeye

Dang West way to blow it up big time! Looks like you had a good day.

The couple I caught the other day were on the fall with a Jig and a Senko. I tried fishing the River yesterday and the only bite I got was a Mudfish (Bowfin), but it was a great fight on the Spinning Rod.

I can't figure out the River this month at all. The water is very dark still and way high. There are areas flooded 60 yards or more back into the woods that are normally dry. I'm thinking maybe the Bass followed the water back into the woods, where you have no chance of getting to them.
