I snag a cushion i am losing a bait. The cushions were actually picked up and  cleaned out. The sofa stayed in about 7ft of water in front of culvert. Some nice bass hang out there from time to time.

Was a meh day today. Got out for 4 hours, only managed a few. Was a beautiful day out though. Spent the day throwing my 2 favorite rigs.

So that's  what a bass looks like?? Geeze  the canals have been void of life this wknd for me. This  was it til Nov.

Caught about 4 today at sunset, nothing that would help. All around 15 or so. Dunno how much more I'll get a chance to fish but would like to cull at least one more, think its 16.5. The work at the shop has really been kicking my butt, laying wood flooring and carpet, demo and remodeled a bathroom, etc. Now I know why I didnt follow my Dad into construction!

So I got a free gift from fish hound since I haven't even used my original points once I figured out they were the USPS under cover charging shipping for free baits .....hoping for baits....nope not baits.....it's one of those rod condoms man the thing says to 7-6 and its like two feet short on my 7-3 is that how it's supposed to be?

Fyi, the reason why its like that is because they are designed to cover the guides, not the whole rod. You have to get the xlong rod glove to fit down to the balls, i mean reel on a 7' rod. I have a bunch of those things i intended on using but they do nothing but get in the way. Reel covers on the other hand are a must have if you like nice paint and resale value.

Yeah uhm I don't have that issue to deal with......really only 3 combos, only 1 or at most 2 ride in the passenger set when I got out.
