Caught a few today, not much of an upgrade with one of them but as we have found out before with this every .25 counts.

16.75, culls the 16.5 for  5 fish; 25, 17.5,17,16.75,16.75 = 93

You see that rod and reel in the pic? All fish came on that. They dug into the grass, nothing got away. Skill level hard.

Picked this up and put some clear mono on it. Got a dozen dinks between today and yesterday.



I had a quantum just like it before. That reel for the price takes a beating! Dont think a 20$ reel can get much better then it. Drags not smooth though but its okay.


My tackle selection is slowly recovering still.

Only had an hour to fish, but managed to catch seven. Here are the two biggest:

I agree Deadeye. We have progressed nicely. Hopefully we can attract some more participants as we move forward. The highest we have had in the past was shy of 30. I will also say the competition is fun, and challenging.  Challenging because if your fishing time is limited like mine has become,  whenever I do manage to get out, I must figure out the pattern quickly. You jokers can put some serious fish on the board!!

I agree.  Especially with no boat right now and limited time. But fun to post up and read regardless.  I did manage andink of the dock but not worth mentioning.
