RED....

The lake is a normal level and very clear. Bite has been good at sun-up and sun-set.  Once sun gets up on the water the bite starts slowing down.  but you always can catch alot of some small ones, but the big ones stop bitting. red...

Red,
where is Bone Creek located in Oklahoma? I think that Mike and I need a short vacation and fishing is always the key to choosing a place to go...

Bone Creek is a great bass fishery in South East Kansas right outside of a small town called Cherryvale.  It's South West of Parsons Kansas, and I'd guess maybe 30 miles North East of Coffeyville.  So its down there near Oklahoma but not quite.  It's got tons of flooded timber which is great for the fishing but watch out for sumberged stumps, a lot of guys have messed up their props on that lake.  One of the ABA districts I fish alot fishes on Bone Creek quite a bit.

Sorry CGS I think you are mistaken.  The lake you are thinking of is Big Hill lake.  Bone Creek is up near the Pittsburg Kansas area.  Pittsburg is located only a few miles from Missouri border.  I've never fished Bone Creek but I did know some guys that fished it.

OOPS!  I am corrected!  Sorry about that :(  Big Hill was exactly what I was thinking of!
