Black Bayou Benton fishing report 20 Sep 14

Fished a scramble tourney today and choose BBB.
Water was 80-81*
Wind light out of the south east
Normal BBB stain.
Lake is down about 1.5 feet maybe 2
Started off with spinnerbait and caught 2 small ones, switched to plastics around 9am. Bite turned on around 10am and remained pretty good the rest of the day. Most came on watermelon brush hawgs off docks. Caught around 15 fish with best five only going 10 lbs.
Had to pitch to the darkest part of dock and work BHawg back slow but they were there.
Fun day none the less.
Cross produced 1st (13+) & 2nd. I got 3rd. 4th also came off cross.
