Cross lake

Fished Cross today 7-11:30. Lake is very low down 1 1/2 feet, Made it hard to get into boat from dock. Went east for a couple of hours, water was coffee and 83-84 deg, one dink.
Went west water still coffee and 81-82 deg fished 500 trees with plastic to get one 17in fish, fished another 500 and got a second one, They picked it up and swam off never felt a bite. Was overcast and no wind.

Yeah its been slow ever since that front passed through.... I figured they would of picked up by now. .. hopefully we shall see some cooler weather and bigger bites soon. Thanks for the update Jim
