I suppose if you like using old stuff, go right ahead. I guess you drive a car from the 60's and you don't have a cell phone or computer either. Everything today is "overpriced" using your philosophy.....and it also sucks. Man...I really hate accessing the internet via this 300$ plastic phone. Probably only cost 15$ to make it....what junk.

If you're using a homo iPhone then yes it's probably $15 build cost, lmao.

I prefer using equipment, tools, etc that will hold up over time, not require replacement due to inferior build quality.

You just assume most pay to have reels serviced. Guess there may be more mechanically challenged morons in this world after all, lmao. 

Newer reels = parts replacement due to inferior materials/premature wear.

I beg to differ, you may be fishing or thinking of inferior cheaper reels, but maybe that's your problem. My Curados are sound, I take care of them myself, and they have never needed parts replaced. I am talking about the B's all the way to the E's. Are they way over priced? No. They are the ideal workhorse reel that retails in the mid $100's, which I think is fair priced. I am getting the feeling that you just have nothing better to do than grump around the board. To each his own I guess. You are doing a good job of making me laugh.
