As the price for new boats and motors goes up the resale of well cared for used buts hold their value and or even climb in price however there are a lot of good deals out there if a person takes their time and finds them.  Have you checked NADA on it yet?

Yes the nada says $16000. But I'm not in a hurry
So I am going to keep looking for that
Good deal. Or see how bad he wants to
Sell it. Thank you for your time.

I was going to say that sounds high on your first post.  The 16k area is more like it.

Like any boat always check the motor out by a good tech.

The price is high, but you can't buy a new champion any more and it was a good boat. So people want more for the used ones, and if they wait for the right buyer, they can't get a little more for them. Also, as Ron pointed out, new boats are very expensive so well maintained used is worth more.

I'd look closely at this one. A couple things that are hard to tell from a photo but...

1) the carpet near the drivers seat looks to be loose. This can be from spilled dye, scents, excessive cleaning detergents, or sun.

2) in all manufacturers that gold color tended to fade easily, or have problems with oxidation in the gel coat. Some say its from all the bright metal flake. If the carpet is loose, I'd find out how it was stored

"Can't buy a New..." sounds like gonna be hard to find parts...
