This is an old video but always fun to watch.

Seen that one before.  Amazing video.  I've seen big bass do this a lot of times when kids are bluegill fishing off the dock,  but a bull shark chomping on a redfish is amazing.  The young girl is clearly stunned.

Had that happen out on a Grouper Charter once, scared the stuff out of everybody because they didn't see a fin.  Too bad too, that was a nice big grouper head, would have been a lot of meat to fill the body in.

Dunno why, but, I jump every time I watch that thing.

Cracks me up they say keep reeling.....  as if she has any chance of landing either fish or shark.

We grew up chumming for blues in the chesapeake.  It was not uncommon to fight a nice 10 lb blue in and have the line go limp and retrieve only a fish head left by the shark.

Amazing creatures.

Cool Video.  I jumped like a kid watching Friday the 13th.

I have actually seen that happen several times fishing off of the Gulf Shores pier.

Its going to get worse (or better depending on how you look at it), as the water continues to clean up, and bait gets more abundant on shore and inshore, the predators are going to follow that bait.  Around here, as an example, redfish are more prolific, as are other mid scale predators, they are also more larger fish because of fishing laws, that makes it a much better attraction for the larger predators to come in closer.  Depending on the salinity levels of the back bays, we see times when all kinds of salty water fish come into those bays to feed.  Heck, I've caught sting rays, and other species other than drum in the "brackish" park I fun fish a lot.  Last year we saw porpoise swimming up and down that bayou, that is a pretty long swim from the Gulf.  I bet there were shark too, but just never was able to document it.
