Hey all,

I'm going to be heading from Rhinelander, Wisconsin down to Lake Barkley on the 18th of next month to fish a small tournament.

I've never fished this particular lake, and I've been studying maps of the lake for a little while now and could use some assistance from someone familiar with the water.

From the looks of things, I'll probably do all right if I look for warmer water in creek arms, looking for clearer water rather than muddy, but I'm hoping that someone can give me a little more assistance.  I'm not asking for specific hotspots (although I wouldn't turn any down), but looking for ideas on lure selection, any hot colors or styles for that water.

Typically, I'd be looking at brush/rocks in the water, tossing pearl or baby bass colored Zoom Flukes, watermelon Senkos or pumpkinseed tubes.  Of course I'd have a spinnerbait rigged, but is there anything I should be packing?

We'll be staying in the Eddyville area, around the Eddy Creek Marina.

I'd appreciate any assistance given and all replies will be kept confidential!   ~roflmao
