I visited my son and family in Omaha; he moved there last year.   I brought him my old john boat and we went to Wanahoo to try it out.   This was on last Tuesday, and fishing was very slow for us.   He hooked a real nice bass that was in the trees and it wrapped some branches and got off.   I am back in WI now, but he will probably be going back to try it again soon.   It appeared there were two areas to fish on the lake when we were there, rip rap and trees.   We didn't find many fish, anyone got any tips out there?
