Mouse in the house…. What the best way to bait the trap

Haven't had a critter in years and got one now and possible more. Dicsovered their trail under the kitchen sink. Also, discovered they have been stashing dog food from the dog bowl too. Smart little critters. I baited two traps with peanut butter under the sink. If you have a better mouse trap do share. It's time to get even!

Peanut Butter.... You'll have caught mice in the morning. I get them regularly and they never make it to tomorrow after discovery.

My tomcat keeps the house rodent free but when I have used a trap, PB was the bait that always worked.

I had to buy several different brands of traps before finding one they couldnt get the bait off of without tripping it. They are sneaky little critters!

I do bend the keeper out so that it's nearly impossible to set. This makes the trigger instant. He/she breathes on it and KerSMACK
