lucky tackle box...

Not a very good start to my "membership"... The first box arrived late.... The "no sample packs" thing sounds good, but sure enough... I have not one , but IMO 2 sample packs this month. I guess the whole 6th item promise, instead 5 to sweeten the deal of the slow shipping last month was too good to be true.
This is the kicker... I originally signed up for 3 months, placed order on first week of March , I jut received my second box and I'm already being billed before the next three. This seems a little weird to me.

I subscribed for 6 months with no problems. I was pleased with the service. I only cancelled because I needed to spend that $15 per month on other things.

That being said, that sucks man! Have you spoken directly to Rick or anyone else there on the phone? I would think they would do their best to solve the billing and shipping issues.

 I talked to Britny yesterday after receiving two sample packs of plastics. This was one of their selling points and what separated them from the other subscription tackle services. She explained to me what happened and I cancelled my subscription after that. I have been getting them for 7 months now and have noticed a steady decline in the quality and value of the boxes. I still think it is a decent value for the money though.

Maybe not a bad deal for the money but IF an extra lure was to be presented to "make it up to us" for th shipping mishap, a value increase of the box should also be present... And IMO... It is not!

everyone of those "boxes" companies are just giving samples. I have a drawer full of sample packs from companies like this
I have lots of great personality traits. Or as my doctor calls them, symptoms.

The whole point of the marketing scheme or should I say SCAM is they don't do sample packs...

How about talking directly to the company rather then jumping on here and bashing them left and right  :-*  I've not used them however I have used a ton of baits/rods/reels/line and on and on as we all have.  The one thing I've found over and over is when I talk to the company about an issue I sure get better and faster service than if I just rant about it to my friends.  As far as LTB commenting on here or not  :-\ you didn't give them much of an opening, the thread from the start reads as a public bash and those types of threads "Site Sponsor or Not" are not something we condone.

Your welcome to your opinion on anything you use but Ultimatebass.com is has not and will not be a place to create a "wall of shame" type threads.  Please feel free to read the rules.

I've sent them 3 emails with no response... I tried to use the webtool they have to speak to a CSR... It doesn't work. So, instead of assuming I haven't reached out to them.. Maybe ask me if I have.. Then, read above.. And you'll find the answer.
