About me:

My name is Matt Rhodes.  I am 29 years old and have been married to my wife for 8 years.  We live in Destin, FL, which is in the Panhandle of Florida.  I love the outdoors !!  Whether its hunting, fishing or just working, I love being outside.  I am a Christian and put God and family before everything else.

My Occupation:

I have been in Hospitality my whole life. I have worked from retail to Hotel. Now I work for Sandestin Beach Hilton Golf Resort & Spa.  My job is I.T. Specialist, and in the past I worked in the Engineering Department (Fixing from lamps to HVAC.) My job requires me to look over and monitor switches and fix issues.  As you can imagine I am always fixing a computer and meeting different people. Bass Pro Shops is one of many I see. They hold a convention here every year. My customers depend on me to sell them a quality product at a competitive price, so that they can compete in the market place.  My job requires a lot of enthusiasm to keep guest happy. I have years of sales experience also. I absolutely love what I do.

Fishing:

I have been bass fishing for as long as I can remember.  It is something that I just fell in love with when I was young.  I hope to get my kids to follow suit one day. I am on the water almost every weekend 12 months a year.  I am a member of the Hub City Bass Masters.  I also fish my local circuit tournament trails.  I am just looking to fish on a larger tournament scale than I am now.  I have only been fishing tournaments this past year.

I Don't work Becasuse of my age , but I sure wish I could . I do help out my poppa doing the summer and go fishing with him. I have helped out a local tackle shop before.
